Tips for Extending Lifetime of any Pantyhose
Pantyhose that have reinforced toes, a reinforced diamond-shaped bit of material in the place of joint of two stockings and a little spandex or elastic will last longer than sheer, flimsy pantyhose.
They may cost more, but with proper care they will last a long time
Check fingernails and toenails before putting pantyhose on. File jagged corners and trim hangnails before putting on pantyhose. Smooth your any rough spots on tips and fingers
Gather pantyhose all the way to the toe before inserting foot. Insert thumb into the pantyhose tip. Gently pull pantyhose evenly from both sides moving up the leg, usually stretching occurs when you pull pantyhose too strong from the center of legs
Avoid sitting on park benches or any rough surfaces this may lead to a run or hole
You can use clear nail polish for fast fixing a small hole or run on pantyhose.
Apply a small amount on a hole and around
Hand-wash pantyhose instead of machine washing. Rinse well, then hang them over a clean towel to absorb water and dry
Store pantyhose in zip-lock plastic bags. This will keep them safe from bra hooks, lace edges, fingernails and other hazards if you store it in lingerie or clothing drawers
